Syracuse Hometown Heroes Project Launches Phase Two

Syracuse, NY – Mayor Ben Walsh kicked off phase two of the Syracuse Hometown Heroes Project today. Addressing a group at Burnet Park, Mayor Walsh stated the program this year is adding banners to the area by NBT Bank Stadium and the Regional Market; North Salina Street; Upper Onondaga Park; Comstock Avenue near Syracuse University; Waverly and Crouse Avenues near the National Veterans Resource Center and Burnet Park.

Friends and families of veterans or active duty service members can place an order to sponsor their loved ones at https://syracusehometownheroes.com . Applications closed on March 22. Although the limit on orders for this year has been reached, he advised interested parties to email City Hall from their website, reserving a spot for next year.
