CONGRATULATIONS to Auxiliary Unit 1468 President Lisa Lambert and her family, Mia, Evan, and Tim for receiving the Onondaga County American Legion’s Commander’s Award for Excellence in Service for their work during the recent Department of New York Commanders Vist and Soiree’.
During the preparation phase and throughout the dinner, that was held at Valley Post, Lisa and her family worked tirelessly to prepare the hall and outdoor areas, ensuring the ambiance was appropriate for the evening.
From decorating to serving to cleaning up afterward and especially putting up with my nonsense, Lisa and her family displayed an ethic and diligence all others should strive to emulate.
On behalf of the Onondaga County American Legion, we presented to Lisa, Mia, Evan, and Tim, the Commander’s Award for Excellence in Service, in recognition of and sincere appreciation of your and your families’ outstanding support of the Syracuse and Onondaga County American Legion during the September 29th, 2025, Department of New York Commanders Reception and Dinner.
