Celebrating Youth Marksmanship: Donation to Post 113 Team

November 4th, 2025 – Baldwinsville, NY – DONATION GIVEN TO POST 113 JUNIOR AIR RIFLE AND BB GUN TEAM!

As most of us know, American Legion Junior Shooting is a gun safety, education, and marksmanship program that encompasses the basic elements of safety and education, along with the enjoyment of competition. And, as we also know, these programs can come with a significant financial cost.

The Officers of the Onondaga County American Legion were honored to reflect upon the achievements of these young men and women of the Air Rifle and BB Gun Team of Vernice Suttle Post 113. This team is a source of great pride within the Syracuse and Onondaga County American Legion.

As such, on behalf of the Syracuse and Onondaga County American Legion, we presented a $1,200 check to support the team’s equipment needs. This donation is a testament to our belief in this team’s potential and a token of our unwavering support.

Their spirit, courtesy, and sportsmanship are exemplary and bring honor to the American Legion.
